#AmazingAuthor Spotlight - Hadley Raydeen

If you've ever been to a signing where there's a chance to karaoke, it's likely that you've heard Hadley singing into a microphone. The woman has a voice, and she shares it at those before and after parties!

I met Hadley a little over a year ago at my first signing as an author, and I was happy to find that she was a local Pittsburgh author just like me! She is absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough. I'm so pleased to be able to share her with you this week. Make sure you watch for her books and links.

How did you get started writing?

I started as an Editor for 3 e-publishing houses. The authors that I edited for encouraged me to start writing my own stories.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I write what I love to read. I like to see strong professional women fall in love.

What does your writing process look like?

First-round I throw all the words on the page regardless it makes sense. Second pass I make sure the story makes sense and look for glaring grammatical errors. The third pass I polish for any errors I missed on the second pass.

What's the most difficult part of writing for you?

Making sure my characters are as interesting to someone else as they are to me.

What's the most rewarding part?

When people get my characters and love my stories

Do you have a favorite character?

Not really. Like a mother I love all my book characters equally.

How many books do you have published?

Can you share what you're working on now?

I will have 3 more books out before the end of the year, including a stand-alone, a Christmas book as part of a 12- days of Christmas with author sisters and a prequel for an extended series next year

What book(s) would you recommend for readers new to you?

My first book out was Closer Than a Brother.

My most popular book is Forbidden.

My Lady Guardians Arlington Series (Female MC book)
