How did you get started writing?
My love of writing truly began with poetry.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from real life whether it be from experiences of myself or others, random things I think about, dreams, etc. Literally anything can be an inspiration from a red umbrella, white rose, or curiosity of 'what would happen if..."
What does your writing process look like?
I have the beginning of a story with what the characters look like and the messages I want to tell my readers. Then, I choose my title. Usually, I 'go with the flow', but recently have been planning stories in detail before I set pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, and add more ideas as I write.
What's the most difficult part of writing for you?
Beating writer's block and time management!
What's the most rewarding part?
Typing 'The End'! Editing takes a long time, but finishing that first draft feels so relieving!
Do you have a favorite character?
I have a fav character in each of my books for many different reasons, but I would have to say my fav developing character is Tork from my Kingdom of Celosia series. Tork is a troll from Travlinkah and their element is fire, but Tork is different. He looks less Orc type and more like a grandpa dwarf! Besides, he bakes COOKIES that you can smell through the Dark Forest! Mmm...
How many books do you have published?
4 and 4 charity anthologies, plus a new multi-author series on the way!
Can you share what you're working on now?
Co-writing a book with a great author, Edward Blackwood, in the Leather Persuasion multi-author series as Crystal Lynn, and Kingdom of Celosia: Royal Curse as Crystal St.Clair
What book(s) would you recommend for readers new to you?
I love all of my stories but I recommend my newest, Reflections by Crystal St.Clair and Blind Date by Crystal Lynn.
